Head North to Fernandina Boat Charters to spend some time exploring Florida Georgia coastal waters on your next free afternoon.

Miss Connie is a 30-foot catamaran with tall sails and blue and white striped pillows. Captain Terry took us for a journey out to sea on Saturday.
At 1 pm on April 18th, we boarded Miss Connie. We brought a cooler, camera and desire to get away from quarentine cabin fever.
The view was amazing. We glimpsed wild horses on Amelia island. One brown horse and a spotted gray and white one. It was magical.
We saw dolphins swimming beside us. They dove up and through the crescents of the blue and green ocean surface. Their find eclipses the ripples again and again.
Seashore for Miles

We saw historic Fort Clinch in the distance with a wall, tower and red brick old buildings. (Just read there is camping nearby! I will have to check that out next).
Captain Terry told us about The French roots of Fernandina. It was an educational romp by each shoreline.

We listened to sailing songs. We got sunburnt. We breathed in saltwater air and stared out into the choppy blue horizon.
View of the Boating Dock
The boats, ships and barges we saw on our lil journey were magnificient. With mysterious little monohauls to industrial barges lazily floating by, I will have sea vessels on the brain for weeks to come.

I can’t wait to go back.
