Yesterday was an amazing, beautiful sunny day. My husband and I drove to Fernandina to spend a couple hours sailing Miss Connie’s Misadventures.

Captain Terry got the sails hoisted up and ready to take on the mild, gusty wind. Gorgeous white and blue triangles filled my vision and I reclined in the front of the catamaran. The sun was bright, the sea full of little ripples, and we saw 2 wild horses on Amelia Island.

After weeks spent trapped inside with the quarantine blues, it was an amazing trade to feel the power and freedom of the ocean that we skimmed straight through.
