Acer Chromebook

Cost: $200 (When I bought mine at Best Buy in 2016).

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my chromebook.

It’s got crap for storage, but it’s fast, great for Googling a gazillion queries at once, and has a fluid keyboard with easy typing capacity.

I purchased my chromebook in 2016. It was an investment in being able to work from home in the future. I wanted an affordable computer with fast internet and easy document creation (google docs). I don’t play computer games and my main goal did not require a lot of graphic design (I hope to get a mac one day for that).

I asked a developer at work for his recommendation. When he heard my budget, he thought it might be fun to jailbreak my Kindle instead, but I really wanted a full screen.

My dad had purchased me refurbished Dells in the past but the shelf life on each was only a few years, and that didn’t include the contant need to purchase better power cords.
