In my recent and never-ending search for a stylist, I decided to try a new salon. I did the ol’ ‘salons near me’ bit and found a few options. One of them offered online appointments and had decent prices. I scrolled through to find if their stylists looked promising – aka looked like they wouldn’t go on a tirade about what I am doing wrong with my hair.
Ashley Cowart had positive reviews, pretty pics of extensions, dyed hair, and more. So I ambled over to Salon Lofts at 1526 University Blvd W, not too far from my apartment. I held my breath in hopes that I would walk out transformed – like the swan I always knew I could be. Well, striped swan, I wanted chunky blonde highlights after all.
