Ulta Beauty – Southside – with Zuly – Salon Stories

What first interested me about getting my hair done at Ulta was that they can do extensions there. However, there is a whole planned consultation appointment and ordering the hair part that can take time. I was glad to know it that was an option, but for this trip to the salon I was going for cut and color.

I was able to book a quick appointment on a busy Sunday, and immediately have a transformation at my fingertips. My hair was nice and long and ready for some attention.

Ulta at Town Center

This isn't the kind of long, leisurely cut with a velvet tufted waiting area. This place means business.Expect a busy, buzzing shopping vibe as you walk in.

My stylist was named Zuly, and she gave me an awesome haircut! Zuly was very friendly and did a great job. I got balayage for the first time. Usually I do blonde highlights, lather, rinse, repeat. But I was up for spending a little more and trying something new.

The back has some really cool dark colors. I wanted a bit more of a contrast, but I can wait til I come in next time to brighten the blonde. The space was a little chaotic with some of the stylists trying to quickly get clients out the door. However, everyone was very polite and definitely demonstrated that they valued my time.
